Lifting times for railway bridge
The normal time for the bridge to be lifted is 8am and to remain so until all boats are through.There is a tide window for entering or leaving Spencer Dock from the Liffey – likewise when entering or leaving Grand Canal Dock. Boats entering Dublin on the Royal Canal will need to be at lock 5 the evening before a bridge lift. Saturday 14th April (test lift with small amount of boats)
Sunday 6th May (May BH w/end,)
Sunday 3rd June (June BH w/end)
Saturday 14th July.
Saturday 18th August.
Saturday 1st September.
