Some further details for the June bank holiday weekend have been published.

Sat -  Boats depart Tullamore for Ballycommon, Kilbeggan Challenge and Curry Night at Ballycommon with Offaly IWAI (Note; Advanced booking required for Curry Night, please contact Gerard Bayly to ensure your name is in the pot!!)

Sun - Family Fun day and BBQ hosted by the Ballycommon/Kilbeggan Groups

Mon- Boats depart for Tullamore, Boland's Lock House will be open to the public for a welcome cruising break. 

 

Members' attention is also drawn to an event being held the following Friday (5th June) in Tullamore.  IWAI Offaly and Kildare are hosting a fundraising event in memory of Mick Farrell.  All are encouraged to attend and support this cause.

HBA 2015 Ballycommon Cruise
The summer season is now upon us - weather not withstanding. Whilst some members have already put a number of (nautical) miles under their keels now is the chance for everyone else to get some early miles logged. The HBA Ballycommon Cruise gets underway on Saturday 9th May at Shannon Harbour. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has considered canal cruising but just never got around to it and promises to be a very enjoyable event. Reminder: Membership Fee now due
Members may find it convenient to pay their membership fee by Standing Order. A form is available in the Contact Us section of the website or directly from this link - SO Form. The completed form should be handed to your bank or. alternatively, you can use the details on the form to set up a Standing Order on-line. Ensure that you inform the HBA Treasurer ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) that your membership is now being paid by Standing Order. If known please include your membership number in the reference.

It is also possible to make a once-off payment through your bank for the current year's membership fee using the details on the form.
